 agencies to help us with much needed deep cleaning and grounds beautificati
 on projects.  As a non-profit organization with limited resources, we are b
 etter able to carry out the important work of providing an essential servic
 e to children and families by hosting volunteer organizations such as yours
 !  We also employ a notoriously overworked, underpaid and under-appreciated
  population of Early Childhood workers - all of whom will be so GRATEFUL fo
 r the help in and around their classrooms!\n\n \n\nGhent's Project List: Or
 ganize closets, art supplies, shed; paint school-age classroom; cot/furnitu
 re deep clean; activity bus washing; landscaping; window washing; small pai
 nting projects; etc\n\nOpportunity Type: Individual and Team\nLength of Typ
 e: \nMinimum age required: 18\nRequired: We ask that our volunteers come sa
 fely equipped to work throughout the day on the specific tasks we have plan
 ned.  Items that volunteers may want to have on hand for their comfort and 
 safety: sunscreen (much of the project could be held outdoors), hat, sungla
 sses, your own personal gardening and/or cleaning gloves, comfortable shoes
  and attire.  Additionally, bringing extra gardening/yard hand tools, trimm
 ers, weedeaters, blowers, and power washers would be a tremendous help to t
 he project! We also invite our volunteer groups to contribute materials to 
 the project as able. Some items might include additional or specific cleani
 ng supplies, gardening plants, and/or other project-based items based on th
 e project list at this site and the overall volunteer skill level.\nSupplie
 d: We will provide light morning refreshments, water bottles throughout the
  day, a prepared or catered lunch, and the basic supplies for the projects 
 listed (this could include: various cleaning agents, buckets, rags, brushes
 , painting supplies, mulch, rakes, shovels, wheelbarrows, etc).
